However, I have a significant concern regarding the reliance on only two web server instances (web-server-1 and web-server-2) behind a load balancer. While this setup provides some level of redundancy, it lacks sufficient fault tolerance. In a production environment, it's crucial to account for potential instance failures, network issues, or maintenance windows that could lead to downtime. Additionally, the architecture does not mention any monitoring or alerting mechanisms for the web servers or the Autonomous Database. Without these, it becomes challenging to proactively address performance issues or outages. Furthermore, implementing auto-scaling for the Compute instances could help manage variable traffic loads more effectively, ensuring that the application remains responsive under different user loads. In summary, I recommend expanding the number of web server instances for better reliability and incorporating monitoring and auto-scaling features to enhance overall resilience.
